This is my sister along the Yellowstone river near Emigrant Montana this January.
We stopped along the highway to look at some Big Horn Sheep on the other side of the river, the lens I had wasn’t really enough to take anything cool of the sheep but I got this one out of it.
This was a pretty fun road trip for a long weekend down in Yellowstone National Park. -

I’ve spent the past three summers working in Grand Teton National Park. Mainly in the Maintenance department, fixing things, cleaning and being a janitor. Last summer I was a painter and spent all day everyday outside painting and staining cabins, houses and other buildings. Mostly I just did what I wanted when and how i wanted. I listened to my Ipod while I worked or blasted the radio. It was a really great job. One of the best summer’s of my life. Really.
Two summer’s ago we had a really fun group of friends in the park and this summer most of them came back so it made things even better this year than in years past.
I might go back next year, but I’m actually just really hoping to get a job somewhere new, ideally in Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park! -
